Copyright Of Images

Under the copyright and patents act of 1988, Stefania Distante retains the copyright of all images taken. It is a criminal offence to copy, screen grab, scan or reproduce photographs without written consent by Stefania Distante. Once you have purchased digital files you are granted a licence to use your images for personal use. Your purchased files can then be used for sharing with your friends and family on social media sites, for updating model or acting portfolios, and printing out for yourself, family and friends. These images are not to be sold or given to any third parties without prior consent.

Images that are purchased as digital files are not to be altered in any way that change the integrity of the image without prior consent.

Images taken in photographic sessions may be used by Stefania Distante for display or marketing purposes. This could include social media, marketing literature, or galleries on this website. This is for the purpose of promoting my photography so clients can see the style of work Stefania Distante creates. If you would prefer your child's images not to be displayed in this way please let Stefania Distante know in writing when you book your photographic session. Stefania Distante may ask you to complete a Model Release Form from the Association of Photographers of which you can retain a copy for your records.

The use of video recording and your own camera is forbidden during your photographic session.

Booking and Payment

A £50 fee is payable when you book your photographic session, and this secures your date and time in the diary. This fee is non-refundable but fully transferable to another date if at least 5 days’ notice is given. This does not include illness as Stefania Distante understands this can happen at any time. If your child is ill on the date of the shoot, please contact Stefania Distante as soon as possible to notify us of re-scheduling your appointment.

Your booking fee will be deducted from the cost of your photographic session, the balance of which is payable at your appointment.

Payment for orders of digital files, prints and artwork is due in full at the time of ordering. All artworks must be collected from the studio.

Liability

If Stefania Distante becomes injured, too ill to work or an emergency occurs, your appointment may need to be cancelled and re-scheduled to a new date. Stefania Distante will make every effort to re-book your appointment to a convenient time for you. If a new appointment date can't be agreed the client agrees and accepts the responsibility and liabilities of Stefania Distante is limited to the returning of any fees or deposits paid towards your booking or session fee. Stefania Distante is not responsible for any consequential loss, damages, charges, expenses, accommodation or travel costs.

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, damage or theft that leads to the loss of images captured in your portrait session, liability is limited to the refund of any fees paid by you in relation to the session fee or portrait package to Stefania Distante.

By booking a photographic session at Stefania Distante you are agreeing to all the above terms and conditions.
